Why the project was created
Document procedures are often difficult to navigate: different countries have different requirements, official wording is not always clear, and users need to make practical decisions quickly — what to prepare, where to process a document and whom to contact.
Papery was created to reduce this uncertainty. We structure information about documents, explain typical procedures and help users understand the difference between apostille, legalization, notarization, translation and related services.

The website publishes materials about apostille, consular legalization, notarial services, document translation, country-specific document requirements, declarations, powers of attorney, certificates, diplomas, statements and other official documents.

Papery includes a directory of specialists and companies that may be useful when processing documents or solving practical matters abroad. The directory includes categories for notaries, legal firms, lawyers, visa centres, translation centres and real estate professionals.
The goal of the directory is not just to collect links, but to help users find a relevant specialist faster by city, country and service area.
Who is behind Papery
The project is developed by ObriSoft, a Ukrainian translation and localization team working with documents, translations, notarization, apostille, legalization and international client requests.
Practical experience in translation and document support helps us understand which questions appear most often, where users get confused and which information should be explained more clearly.
